HOME PAGE OF THE TREETOP DIARIES
We are here to tell of the summer in the Town That Time Forgot in Pennsylvania, and have fun doing it. We are communal and participatory. There are motifs, allusions, and cross-references that call for dedicated reading.
There were diaries for 2011, 2012 and 2013 that were maintained on another website. The DiaryMaster for that website shut it down in February 2014. We are starting again here on Google blogger.
While the emphasis is on the summer, we have been keeping alive during the winters as well.
Readers from the the Town That Time Forgot will need to learn new navigation in the Treetop Diaries. So will yours truly.. I will try to give explanation as I learn it myself.

You can get to this home page from any other page by clicking on the "Home" label to the right.
If you want to be able to see and scroll down through entries in reverse chronological order, move your cursor (which should turn into a pointing index finger) to the diary title at the top of the page ("Treetop Diaries of The Blogging Eagle") and click on the title. The top entry you then see will be the most recent entry, and you can scroll down through entries to the bottom of the page. At the bottom of the page, there is a button for "older posts" for continuing to scroll backward through entries. In this view, comments on individual entries will not appear, and to see any comments on an entry, you need to click on the entry title.
If you are on an individual entry page, there is not a "previous" or "next" button for going from entry to entry as was the case on the previous website. Instead, to go from entry to entry, you should use the blog archive listing on the right hand side and click on a different entry you want to go to. This could be the next entry or previous entry chronologically, or some other different entry. Note that "month" on the blog archive listing that is expanded is the month of the entry you are on. To go to an entry in a different month, you need to click on that month in the blog archive listing to the right.
Recommendation: Once you have read this home page and know how to get to it by clicking on the "Home" label to the right, I suggest you set yourTreetop Diaries bookmark to this: http://bloggingeagle1.blogspot.com/.
