I am a long time vacationer in Eagles Mere and a lapsed Episcopalian.
I believe religion and politics are badly infecting each other in the United States today.
I have no idea about the extent to which you agree, if at all.

My letter has gotten no reaction, including no reaction from Bucknell acquaintances whom I informed about the letter (with one exception).

I think what I am doing is legitimate and justified, but I want to be respectful, and sending you this email can help me in my belief that I am being respectful, including possibly causing me to doubt my belief.

The attention surrounding the Dec. 6th debate in Alabama is now past, and national attention is on New Hampshire and its lead off Republican primary election.
Yesterday I sent the below email to the New Hampshire Bar Association urging it to avail of the national attention now on New Hampshire to host public conversations in New Hampshire with a broad spectrum of New Hampshire residents to hear their "concerns, experiences, and suggestions for restoring and preserving our democracy rule of law."
I think Dartmouth should be a venue in New Hampshire for such a public conversations to take place. If the Dartmouth Lawyers Association agrees, and can give me suggestions of whom to contact at Dartmouth to try to instigate the holding of such a public conversation at Dartmouth, I would be most appreciative.
Also, to the extent the Dartmouth Lawyers Association thinks it should be suggested to members of the Association that they undertake activities in their respective states in support of the ABA Task Force's mission, it would be great to communicate that suggestion to the members.

The attention surrounding the Dec. 6th debate in Alabama is now past, and national attention is on New Hampshire and its lead off Republican primary election.
Yesterday I sent the below email to the New Hampshire Bar Association urging it to avail of the national attention now on New Hampshire to host public conversations in New Hampshire with a broad spectrum of New Hampshire residents to hear their "concerns, experiences, and suggestions for restoring and preserving our democracy rule of law."
I think Dartmouth should be a venue in New Hampshire for such a public conversations to take place. If the Dartmouth Lawyers Association agrees, and can give me suggestions of whom to contact at Dartmouth to try to instigate the holding of such a public conversation at Dartmouth, I would be most appreciative.
Also, to the extent the Dartmouth Lawyers Association thinks it should be suggested to members of the Association that they undertake activities in their respective states in support of the ABA Task Force's mission, it would be great to communicate that suggestion to the members.

A week ago Saturday, I sent the Alabama State Bar the below email, importuning it once more prior to the Dec. 6th debate.
